Explore the Four Temperaments

Temperament is a practical framework for understanding natural tendencies in communication, decision-making, relationships, and the way we approach life. No temperament is better than another, and most people recognize parts of themselves in all four.

Don't try to choose your color before taking the assessment. The descriptions below are only an introduction. Answer the 40 questions from your first instinct and how you typically behave—not the result you hope to receive.

Two simple dimensions

Introvert ↔ Extrovert

This framework is not simply “quiet versus outgoing.” The supplied material describes introverts as tending to process thoughts and feelings before speaking, while extroverts often process thoughts and feelings by speaking.

People ↔ Task

People-oriented temperaments naturally emphasize relationships and connection. Task-oriented temperaments naturally emphasize accomplishment, results, quality, and getting things done.
